We stayed at this location to catch a White Sox vs Tigers night game. Party of 4. We drove to and from game. Only parking for apartment is on the street. But, would definitely park vehicle and use Uber on next visit. Apartment was very clean and tidy. Coming back in evening the smell of someone smoking weed nearby was strong and was noticeable through out the apartment. It is Michigan though and seems to be the norm.Could not get TV to turn on in living roomThe Check-In / Check-Out process is all automated. Be sure to finish check-in process with license prior to showing up at the door. Approval process takes a little bit to get door code. Over all would definitely stay again.

Good value for the price. Easy walk to the Detroit Institute of Art (exceptional). No TV...no Tigers Negative: No TV remote in the unit. Contact to property resulted in suggestions of where to look...which of course we had done. Only one regular glass in the kitchen. I wrote inquiring whether several T-shirts had been left behind but no response. Also asked it a lost and found existed but no response. Sigh.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property!! Pros: near grocery stores, convenient to highway without a lot of noise or traffic, neighbor is quiet and the space accommodated us nicely, enough paper towels and toilet paper provided. Check out was easy and street parking available. Cons: check-in was a little arduous and happened at check in time not before (issue with receiving my payment that delayed the process on their site). Property is a townhouse with stairs. 1/2 bathroom is on the main level, top floor has one room, no bathroom. Not enough glassware and bowls but we made due. Some gnats but it was the summertime.

Positive: The location was great for walking and close to ll the sights we wanted to see. The staff answered my concerns and questions effectively Negative: Minor things light a cracked light switch. The A/C is not working the best on the 3rd floor. The missing smoke detector is in the main living area.

The location was close to downtown, but the property is a corporate holding. Nothing against corporations but the property needs attention to detail to make it a better stay. For example, there was one drinking glass, queen futon didn’t exist and a smoke detector was missing. The check-in and out process is outside VRBO app and I didn’t know if I was texting a chatbot or person. Stay was adequate but nothing to write home about.
