Can't Go Wrong Positive: My cousins and I traveled to Chicago to celebrate my 61st birthday and this urban retreat is just what we needed. The staff was very responsive, helpful, and professional. Very cozy atmosphere with a homelike feel. Great bonding experience since I live in Virginia and they came from Mississippi. Loved the location. Quiet neighborhood but Uber worked when we needed it. Near Hyde Park and downtown. It was 5 of us and the 3 bedrooms worked out perfectly. We would definitely recommend the Gilean Urban Retreat. Negative: Not a dislike at all and surely wasn't a problem but the bathroom inside knob is not secure.
